Day1 Access

WHAT IS DAY1 ACCESS?

DAY1 ACCESS is a collaborative program between the Ichabod Shop, faculty, and publishers. Students enrolled in this program will have access to the required course materials on the first day of class. It is designed to be:

  • Affordable – most affordable option in the market; through cost savings you can spread your dollar further.

  • Convenient – all students have access on/before the first day of class regardless of financial aid status.

  • Worry/Hassle Free – materials are located in one location, D2L; you don’t have to stress over course materials and where you will purchase them and if they are the correct materials.

  • Accessibility/Study Assistance – all materials meet/exceed standards set forth by the National Federation of the Blind and have study assistance such as: audio books, flashcard creation, note taking, highlighting, bookmarking and more.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY CLASS IS PART OF DAY1 ACCESS?

Your course will be identified as DAY1 ACCESS under your course materials on the Ichabod Shop website. https://www.ichabodshop.com/home

HOW MUCH DOES DAY1 ACCESS COST?

Most DAY1 ACCESS prices are lower than the cost to access the materials directly from the publisher, with the average cost being 60% less than the new print textbook.

HOW AM I BILLED/PAY FOR DAY1 ACCESS?

When you enroll in a Day1 ACCESS course, a course material charge will be added to your Washburn student account along with your tuition & fees for the semester.
